Forschungsinteressen

I am an astrophysicist working on the theory of planet formation. My group is developing numerical models for the evolution of dust in the circumstellar disks and the formation of the first gravitationally bound building blocks of planets, the planetesimals. The overarching goal of my research is to build a new consistent theory that will explain the formation of the Solar System and exoplanets within one framework.
