Forschungsinteressen

I am a cosmochemist interested in understanding the conditions of formation and chronology of the first objects in the early solar system (e.g., chondrules). I am studying meteorites, formed at the beginning of our solar system at around 4.56 billion years ago, by combining petrological observations and isotopic analyses. I am mainly performing mass spectrometry, such as secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS) and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry either with solutions (MC-ICP-MS) or laser ablation (LA-MC-ICP-MS/MS).
