Main Focus
I am mostly interested in “Plasma processes in planetary magnetospheres and the interaction with moons, especially Jupiter and Saturn”. This includes the study of planetary radiation belts, motion of plasma in planetary magnetic fields, auroral processes, boundary phenomena, global configuration and dynamics of magnetospheres, local environment of the moons embedded in the magnetospheric plasma. In my studies I mainly use in-situ particles and field data from spacecraft, sometimes combined with generated outputs of Hybrid or MHD-code simulation results.
