Living Reviews in Solar Physics was founded and until 2014 also published by the Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research. It is an open access journal and is published online only. The journal is organized into yearly volumes, but articles will appear throughout the year, as they are ready for publication. The first volume appeared in 2004.
