Martin Bo Nielsen wins Springer Thesis Award
IMPRS graduate Martin Bo Nielsen receives a Springer Thesis Award
IMPRS graduate Dr. Martion Bo Nielsen has been selected to publish his thesis in the Springer Thesis Award series. The Springer Thesis Award recognizes outstanding Ph.D. research at internationally top-ranked research institutes. Martion Bo Nielsen prepared his thesis entitled "Differential Rotation in Sun-like Stars from Surface Variability and Asteroseismology" at the International Max Planck Research School for Solar System Science at the University of Göttingen. Martin Bo Nielsen's thesis was nominated as an outstanding PhD thesis by the University of Göttingen (Germany) after it received a prize of the Dr. Berliner-Dr. Ungewitter foundation.
